National Credit Amendment Bill -To NCOP

National Credit Amendment Bill moves to next phase

The National Credit Amendment Bill has been debated in Parliament and was widely supported. The next step (before going to the President) is that the Bill is to be sent to the NCOP or National Council of Provinces. After they have considered the Bill it should then move to it’s last hurdle namely: the final approval and signing by the President. If he decides he has no objections (and does not send it back to the National Assembly as a result) the Bill will then be signed and soon after published in the Government Gazette.
