Bloem DCs To Enjoy Big Meet Up

It would be fair to say that Debt Counsellors in Bloemfontein might feel somewhat isolated from many of the industry “going ons” across the country.
Often the Debt Review Awards are held in Gauteng, Cape Town or Durbs. The Annual DCASA Conference happens in Gauteng each year and it is unusual to see a big industry function hosted in Bloem.
This is set to change this May as the Regulator, Tribunal, PDAs, credit providers and industry service providers like ONE are heading there to host a full day of activity.
The Seminar has been heavily promoted by ONE (who supply specialist insurance products to consumers under debt review) and looks to be very exciting for those involved in the industry who operate locally.
What's on the Agenda?
On the agenda for the day is time spent networking as well as presentations from Datanamix (credit bureau information), the National Consumer Tribunal (who hear some types of debt review cases), the Debt Counsellors Association of South Africa (that represents many Debt Counsellors).
Then after a break there will be a session with well known out-sourced credit provider debt review experts Consumer Friend, the tech guys at Simplicity (software for Debt Counsellors) and payment distribution agents Hyphen PDA.
Then everyone can enjoy a nice lunch and chance to spend time engaging with all the presenters before the afternoon session with ONE (insurance) and guests from the National Credit Regulator.
The day will end at 3pm, allowing for travel or additional networking.
It is a packed agenda with the chance to engage directly with many important industry suppliers and parties.
It really is great to see Bloem getting the love.
