Hyphen PDA were the big winners at this years’ Debt Review Awards taking home 4 out of 4 Golden Piggys.
The Awards gala where the result were announced was held in Cape Town in June with members from all over the industry and public attending. Presenting the awards for Payment distribution Agencies were the Legal Team of Robyn and Quintin Zimmermann of Liddle & Associates. Putting away their serious court demeanor, the two shone and kept the audience amused with comments like: “oh no i hope it is not another one for them” and “why are these envelopes so small?”.
The Payment Distribution categories this year were very similar to those in 2015. The 4 categories were: Customer Service, Industry Support, Software Integration and the big one Payment Distribution. As in 2015 only 3 PDAs were considered namely DC Partner, Hyphen PDA and NPDA (DCM Group).
The awards were the second category of the night after the credit provider awards were handed out. Since the results were based on a peer review of hundreds of people it is hard to know what the exact margins were but the ultimate winner in each of the four categories was Hyphen PDA, who went home with an armful of certificates and awards. With only 3 firms in the running it is always going to be a tight race each year but it seems full honours belong to Hyphen PDA over the last 6 months.
