Petrol Price Going Up Again

The Automobile Association (AA) has warned that petrol prices are going to go up this month despite the relative strength of the Rand in recent weeks.

An expected increase (based on the price data released by the Central Energy Fund) of around an additional 43 Cents per litre (Petrol & Diesel) is coming.

The CEF releases price stats mid month each month during the year which many agencies use to project what will happen with fuel costs in the near future.

Fuel increases quickly impact on the cost of goods, as suppliers first raise their prices and then retailers reflect this increase in their pricing to consumers.
