DCASA Meet With Standard Bank Debt Review Team
The Debt Counsellors Association of South Africa (DCASA) are meeting with Standard Bank’s Debt Review team this week. The meeting (which happens at least once each year) helps Standard Bank find out more about specific concerns that DCASA members have and also to share concerns they have.
Often these meetings between Debt Counsellors and Credit Providers help shape the way for refining processes which could work faster, better or simpler. Before the meeting, DCASA members were invited to submit any current cases they have where issues exist that they would like to see resolved. These individual matters will also be brought to SBSA’s attention during the meeting and no doubt be resolved swiftly.
Credit providers have seen the clear benefit of the debt review process and it is now a very successful and low cost collections mechanism. The industry is constantly evolving however and good communication helps drive progress and cooperation.
