BDCF refuse NCR Monitoring

The Black Debt Counsellors Forum (BDCF) recently told the National Credit Regulator (NCR) that they were not going to cooperate with the monitoring visits by NCR staff until certain key issues regarding how the NCR monitors Debt Counsellors were sorted out.

BDCF meets with NCR

The NCR and BDCF sat down during March and discussed the matter. It seems they were able to come to an agreement and there will now be better communication and education about the monitoring as well as monitoring tools. With these things in place the BDCF will welcome NCR monitoring visits.
