Bye Bye Laurien

The only constant is change and Nedbank’s debt review team are experiencing a change this month.

Long time Nedbank stalwart Laurien Kemp (Head of Debt Review), who has been heading up the debt review department, is saying farewell and heading on to other opportunities this month.

Laurien worked at Nedbank back in the day when debt review first started and has worked as a compliance manager, recoveries manager and Head of Internal Relations Recoveries, Risk & Compliance.

Her leadership of the Debt Review Department has seen Nedbank win awards in the debt review space many times over the last few years.

Her absence will be felt, and she will be missed (though she says she hopes to see some of her former colleagues around from time to time).

The 12th of August 2025 is her last day at the bank.

The position will officially be replaced in a little while.

In the meantime, the highly efficient team will carry on as usual with all the familiar names. And of course, at the helm is Calvin Ndlovu (the Executive for Unsecured Recoveries & Debt Counselling).
