DC Partner Infomation on Lockdown
Following President Ramaphosa’s order to lockdown on 23-03-2020, DC Partner would like to confirm the following:
As of 15 March, following the first declaration by the President, a large number of our staff members have already been working from home. We are currently finalizing equipping the remainder of our Staff Members to work from home. Measures have been put in place to monitor the productivity of our employee base. In the rare event of any employee not being able to work from home, we will do all we can to ensure consistent productivity.

Please also note that DC Partner makes use of a fully web-based program (Finwise), which will be readily accessible to any authorized person with internet access. Finwise is also securely equipped with firewalls, and you will only be able to access the program should you have valid login details.
Our telephone lines have been set up as such that our staff remain contactable on their regular work lines and extensions. Please be assured that your Client Relations Officers can still be reached on their normal extensions and per email. Likewise, Area Representatives remain available to you as always, although they will assist virtually.
We have been monitoring consumer payments on a daily basis and will continue to do so. We are also ready to assist you in acting upon any payment abnormalities (i.e. following up on
default payments) We understand that due to the current circumstances your needs may vary. We will attempt to accommodate special requests as far as possible, although we request that these requests be reserved for urgent/unavoidable matters. But we cannot guarantee that every request can be accommodated.
In order to keep you updated as much as possible during these times, and in contrary to standard procedures, the distribution clerk assigned to your profile will, on a daily basis, confirm via email once your distributions have been completed. Please note that this arrangement will only be active during the state of Lockdown.
Meeting With The NCR
As a responsible stakeholder in the industry, we will be attempting to schedule an urgent meeting with the National Credit Regulator to discuss industry-wide impact, precautions and expectations.
We take note that the recent announcements from major Banks have caused some confusion amongst consumers with regard to possible payment holidays. DC Partner has prepared consumer communication in this regard and will be forwarding the same to consumers shortly. We urge all Debt Counsellors to remain ready to assist consumers with regard to queries pertaining to payment holidays, etc.

In the event that you should have any suggestions and /or requests pertaining to business continuity, we welcome you to share these with our Client Relations Department. We will be sure to consider this and to assist where possible. We hope and believe in all of our client’s health and safety during these difficult times. We urge our clients to adhere to the President’s parameters in order to ensure your safe return after lockdown restrictions have been lifted.
Should you have any further queries with regard to the above, please do not hesitate to contact your Client Relations Officer.
Kind Regards
