Debt Counsellors Association of South Africa Meeting

DCASA small logoThe Debt Counsellors Association of South Africa (DCASA)  have announced their upcoming February meeting date for KZN and the Western Cape.

All are invited to attend (non-members pay a charge of R150, while members attend for free). On the cards for discussion will, no doubt, be all the confusion and possible changes regarding DCRS, as well as, pending Debt Counselling Fee changes. Also up for discussion will be a brief look at what possible amendments to the NCA might involve. Area specific challenges that local Debt Counsellors are facing (like the recent problems in the Paarl courts over the Nedbank v Jones debt review interest rate reduction ruling) will also be discussed.

NEC & KZN

The regional DCASA meetings will follow after the DCASA NEC meeting which will be held on the 7th of Feb. The Western Cape meeting will be held on the 21st of Feb at the Parow Golf Club, making it the second regional DCASA meeting, with Debt Counsellors meeting in KZN on the 16th of Feb.
