Debt Counsellors are reminded that they are to hand in their statistical reports by the 15th November 2025 for the period 1 July – 30 September (the 3rd Quarter).

In terms of obligations set out in the National Credit Act and particularly Regulation 69(1) & (2), a Debt Counsellor must submit to the National Credit Regulator(NCR) a statistical return (Form 42) on a quarterly basis.

That means that 4 times a year all Debt Counsellors countrywide update the NCR about their clients and how they are doing.

The next Form 42 or quarterly report for quarter 3 (01 July 2025 – 30 September 2025) is now due on 15 November 2025. The NCR are always quick to point out that failure to hand in the report is a contravention of the NCA and may result in the NCR taking enforcement action against the Debt Counsellor. So, please take the matter seriously.
