Beware people offering to get you out of debt review by producing fake clearance certificates.
These are becoming more and more common but hold no legal force.
Often these documents have incorrect dates, fake Debt Counsellor details or pretend to be from your actual Debt Counsellor but were not officially issued.
In fact, they are a form of fraud, and if you use it to try to trick credit bureaus, credit providers and Debt Counsellors, you could face charges.
Rather, talk to your own Debt Counsellor and make arrangements to pay off your outstanding debt. There are no legal shortcuts when dealing with debt.
It is best to pay what you owe. This is the best way to actually be ready to reenter the credit market.
