The Debt Review Awards will be held on Friday afternoon, 24th October 2025.

The Criteria

Awards are not simply granted based on who the organisers or participants like the most.

Each category has a set of defined criteria that has been developed and refined over the years. These combine statutory responsibilities as well as additional considerations like ethics and best practice.

Each year, peer review participants get to provide feedback on criteria and these are discussed and implemented where practical.

Running a peer review process throughout the year and gathering data, coordinating with various parties and hosting both an in-person awards gala and online livestream is costly.

These costs are generously covered by various industry sponsors who support the process financially (without any preferential treatment).  Their donations cover everything from software, to hiring audio visual technicians to ensure that the process runs smoothly, and that all can benefit during the livestream broadcast.

Top 10 Annoumcements

You are probably wondering if there will be any announcements of the Top 10 highest rated candidates in various size categories made before the Awards event.

The answer is Yes. 

These are often announced in the days leading up to the Awards Show as anticipation builds. It also shines a light on these hard-working individuals and practices who are leading the way this year.

Once the peer reviews end, approximately 30 days before the event, the results go to the audit team and then announcements can begin to be made.

Note: Top 10 announcements are always made in alphabetical order. To find out who made the Top 5 and took the highest rated spots, be sure to watch the Awards event (or check the socials).
