The Awards Show & Livestream

The main event of the week is the Debt Review Awards Gala.

Guests will be dressed to the nines and will be enjoying the elegant garden glam theme.

There will be photographers on hand to catch and share all the glitz and glam.

Debt Counsellors seldom have the chance to get all dressed up and celebrate. Well, the Awards is certainly a celebration of debt review and how much it is helping consumers.

Guests will arrive at 1pm and enjoy refreshments, entertainment and conversation with old friends before the speeches start at 2pm.

This year we look forward to speeches from the DTIC, NCR, NCT, NFO and members of BASA, PDASA and more. In between these presentations and speeches, Award winners will be announced and handed out.

The event will run from 2pm – 4pm approximately, after which guests will be able to stay to enjoy some refreshments and entertainment. There are rumours of an after-party, but you’d better ask around to find out those details.

Note: While guests will remain at the venue till 6pm the YouTube livestream will end at 4pm (as everyone watching online needs to start heading home from the office around that time)

How To Hold Your Own Watch Party

The Awards event will be livestreamed on YouTube so that no one has to miss out on all the action.

Many debt counselling practices, and credit provider debt review offices now hold a ‘watch party’ serving snacks and drinks and even handing out their own prizes to top performing staff members.

The event is a great opportunity to build staff morale and excitement for all the good that debt review is doing. In a world of negativity, it is important to celebrate wins.

There will even be prizes for those watching online and making comments in the chat. So, keep an eye out for special QR codes and links in the chat! You might win vouchers or even the chance to be featured in Debtfree Magazine in November.

Tip: Visit the YouTube channel in advance to subscribe and hit the bell (notifications) button so long. That way, when the livestream begins you will be notified on your phone or computer.

You will likely also receive an email from your Debt Counsellor or credit provider association or PDA on the day of the Awards.

There is special bonus material for those watching online. The livestream begins before the Awards event with a series of interviews and presentations. This special content is suitable for senior team members and is aimed at providing additional insights into the industry currently.
