Forbes Best Banking List – The SA Portion Shows Top Local Banks
Forbes, who are famous for their lists of billionaires and brands, has released the findings of their research into the worlds most popular banks. This follows a survey of more than 40 000 customers around the world, including South Africa.

Locally it was Capitec Bank (with 13 333 employees) which continued its service delivery dominance coming out the highest rated by South African customers. Following closely behind were FNB, Bidvest, Investec, and Nedbank.
Last year Investec was one of the big winners at the annual Debt Review Awards which looks at how banks are doing with regard to debt review matters specifically.
The annual industry-wide Debt Review Awards peer review process, which asks NCR registered parties to help review their industry counterparts, is currently underway and the results will be announced in Durban, KZN on the 20th of July.
