National Credit Amendment Bill Hearings Begin
The first day of the long awaited public hearings on the topic of the National Credit Amendment Bill (which will change sections of the National Credit Act) happen today. the hearings will continue until Thursday this week. Each day different organisations or individuals will have their say in regard to the Bill. There has already been an opportunity to make written submissions on the Bill.
Presentations will be made by:
The National Treasury, Wonga Finance, the Credit Providers Association, Micro Finance South Africa, FRB and possibly if there is time the NDMA.
