This week saw the National Credit Regulator (NCR) holding a debt management and saving outreach in Diepkloof (JHB) . The initiative was aimed at educating consumers all about credit and managing debt.
NCR acting CEO, Nomsa Motshegare said: “We believe an informed consumer is a protected one, which is why the NCR has an extensive consumer awareness programme,” . The NCR gave many statistics about their work over the last few years including the fact that they have had over 1 million hits on their website.
