The National Credit Regulator recently announced that it was hosting a series of webinars and informed all Debt Counsellors that they had to attend.
After the NCR had reached out to all registered Debt Counsellors and informed them that there would be a series of webinars hosted (outlining the measures that they will be taking against any Debt Counsellors who break the rules, based on the recent NCT case against NCRDC3875), something unusual happened.
The first webinar had just begun, with hundreds in attendance, when, after about 7 minutes, the NCR pulled the plug, cancelling all the planned webinars.
Guests, some of whom were still arriving late, were left rather confused but were promised that further correspondence would follow.
