NCR Announce Final Training Session
The National Credit Regulator have announced that they are doing a final round of training with NCR Registered Debt Counsellors on the CBA Portal.
The CBA portal will become a standard part of a Debt Counsellors workflow in issuing clearance certificates (Form 19s) saying that consumers have paid up their debt.
In the future, the CBA Portal System will talk to the NCR’s Debt Help System (which is down at present) to confirm that certain steps have been followed.
That training will be done online on the 5th of March (as opposed to the original date announced in the NCR guideline of the 2nd of March).
Any NCR Registered Debt Counsellors who missed past training (or maybe need a refresher) are urged to follow the email instructions received from the NCR directly (sent to the email address shown on the NCR Database) in order to access the training.
Go Live
The CBA Portal will then go live for use on Friday, 6th of March.
The system will only be avilable to NCR registrants and access will be closely monitored.
Any false or fraudulent information captured onto the portal will be prosecuted by the National Prosecuting Authority.
