After a harrowing few hours, it seems the NCR website has been restored to it’s former look and feel and is working normally now.
After becoming aware of the issue, the NCR’s IT team worked ceaselessly to get the website sorted and back up and running.

For example, they have an announcement about their office relocation on the home page.
The fix also seems to have taken care of the weird and wonderful Google search results and descriptions that were showing previously.
The NCR’s website is an important source of information about NCR registrants such as credit providers, ADRAs, Payment Distribution Agents, credit bureaus and Debt Counsellors. People who wish to check if anyone is really registered with the NCR can do so on the site.
The site also has important announcements and circulars about the credit and debt counselling industry.
