NCR Workshop: East London

The NCR have announced that they will be hosting a workshop for Debt Counsellors and select credit providers in East London, Eastern Cape .

What Will Be Discussed

The Workshop will cover a number of topics such as recent Debt Review related court judgments, general compliance by Debt Counsellors in regard to the NCA and their conditions of registration (a warning session), the debt counselling process (in line with recent guidelines they have published) as well as information and discussions going on at the CIF.

When and Where?

The NCR Workshop will be held on the 4th of September and will start at 9am and run all day till 3.30 in the afternoon. As usual lunch will be served. As yet no venue has been announced (as they don’t know how many people will be showing up).

Recently the NCR sent out an industry wide circular and warned against just showing up uninvited at the workshops. They warned that anyone who did would  be turned away if they do not RSVP. You have until the 7th of August to do so.
