Nedbank Workshop

Nedbank are this year once again rolling out a series of workshops to engage with Debt Counsellors country wide. The workshops are aimed at helping both the creditor and the Debt Counsellors in various areas in understanding each others processes.

The next Workshop will be held later this week in KZN.

While in the past there had been a somewhat adversarial feeling between Debt Counsellors and some credit providers, the need for regular communication and a better understanding of both parties’ processes has helped bridge the gap recently. These workshops are just one indicator of the increasing attention that is being given to cooperating to the mutual benefit of consumer and creditor alike.

The workshops run almost the whole day and give all parties the opportunity to ask questions, get answers , discuss specific points of common concern and get to know each other better. Presentations and documentation will be given to the attending Debt Counsellors. The Nedbank Workshop this Friday will be held in Kingsmead and will start at 8:30am.
