NewERA are hosting a self-help workshop in an effort they say “to teach the truth about money and banking“.
They say it will also feature practical tips on how to deal with banks and debt collectors.
When and Where?
The workshop will be held from 2pm – 6.30pm on Sunday the 4th of August at Miguel’s Cafe in Sunninghill, Johannesburg and you can book for it here.
Cost: R500 per person or R300 if you are a current paying Member of NewERA.
Overview
Session 1 (2pm-4pm): Why is banking so secret and how does it control our lives?
- Why are tens of millions of people protesting and rioting all over the world?
- What is fractional reserve lending, seigniorage and securitisation
- How do the banks, the National Credit Regulator, the Ombud and the Reserve Bank all connect and why is banking so secret?
- Is the judiciary on the side of the banks… or the people?
- Who is the bank of International Settlements and why is their role important?
- What is Shadow banking and how does it affect our economy?
- What can I expect to happen in South Africa over the coming months and years if our financial system is not reviewed?
Session 2 (4.30pm-6.30pm): Practical self-help lessons
- How can I empower myself and not use a lawyer?
- How do I deal with a debt collector?
- What happens if I get served a summons?
- What do I do if a Sheriff arrives at my door?
- How can I protect myself from the financial system?
- Etc.
