In good news for some and bad news for others, the price of petrol will go up by 37c a litre in May, while wholesale diesel prices will fall by 30c (0.05% sulphur) and 36c a litre (0.005% sulphur).
This means that in Gauteng, petrol will now cost you R25.49 a litre, and if you are down at the coast, it will cost you R24.70.
Diesel Drops
The price of diesel will be R22.15 a litre in Gauteng and R21.36 down at the coast.
The price of illuminating paraffin will drop slightly by 19c a litre.
The prices are fluctuating in the wake of the conflict between Israel and Iran as well as due to the Rand to Dollar exchange which has been leaning a bit in the favour of the Dollar.
