Nimble’s Latest Consent To Service

Credit Provider EDC Nimble have shared their latest consent to service document.

This document is helpful when at court or the National Consumer Tribunal and you need to show that you have served the debt review court application papers on all parties.

When a consumer applies for debt review, their Debt Counsellor will open negotiations with their credit providers and send a new repayment plan suggestion to each of them. They then have the opportunity to respond (accept or make a different suggestion). These responses and acceptances are included in court documents and submitted to the courts to make a debt restructuring court order.

The courts will want to however just make sure all the credit providers are aware that the court is meeting on that day to potentially make a ruling. This is where such consent to service documents come in handy, as they show the email addresses (or physical address) where the credit provider is willing to receive legal notifications.
