DCASA recently held a Special General Meeting to discuss proposed changes to the organisational structure of the association.

The idea was that not only would it present potential donors with more confidence, but also some tax benefits. 

Members were invited to the Special General Meeting to ask questions and cast votes

The outcome of the voting has now been announced and the necessary eligible member approval was obtained for DCASA to proceed with the conversion of the Association to a Non-Profit Company (NPC), as proposed at the meeting.

DCASA’s National Executive Committee (NEC) will now start the incorporation process and the associated regulatory applications. They have said that they will keep members informed as each milestone along the way is reached.
