Standard Bank Launch Survey

Over the last 3 years there has been growing engagement between the BASA banks and Debt Counsellors. This has been evidenced in increased one on one engagement with more Debt Counsellors and participation in industry events. FNB lead the way with an industry newsletter and workshops which was quickly adopted by Nedbank.

ABSA have recently joined in the increased effort with a new, focused team who have been meeting with Debt Counsellors countrywide and sharing information via email. Now Standard Bank have asked Debt Counsellors to assist them in evaluating their debt review service offerings via an online survey.

SurveyIn an effort to get a better understanding on their industry engagement and service delivery SBSA have asked Debt Counsellors across the country to fill in an online survey about debt review and Standard Bank in particular’s performance.

It just goes to show how the industry is getting closer together and sharing information to a greater extent than ever. Debt Counsellors will now have the opportunity to raise concerns and issues that they feel need attention.

RSS Debt Review Manager, Nomsa Mavundla says that Standard Bank will be using the information to ‘improve …service offerings to all debt counsellors and proactively address inefficiencies in [the] debt review department.‘
