Atlas Finance take everyone to court

Recently Atlas Finance has been in the press for all the wrong reasons. A series of exposes by Moneyweb and ETV’s 3rd Degree have brought to light all sorts of claims of fraud and garnishee abuse.

Now Atlas have struck back and are trying to sue everyone involved for all sorts of reasons.

The best part of the entire story is were Atlas invited a whistleblower into their offices and seemingly secretly filmed themselves offering him a bribe to go away (they were offering R2mil). Rather than see it as entrapment they are claiming Mr Gilbert pressured them into giving him a bribe. (No payment was made).

 

“During court proceedings the whole truth will come to light … at the end of the day our innocence will be totally proved,” says Atlas CEO Jack Halfon.
