Repo Rate Stays the Same

Repo Rate stays at 5%

Governor Gill Marcus announced yesterday that the repo rate will remain unchanged at 5%.

A worrying part of the announcement was where it was mentioned that inflation is now forecast to average 5.8% in 2014 compared with their previous forecast which was lower ( 5.5% ).
