Consumer Education During World Consumer Rights Day
The Month of March is named Consumer Rights Awareness Month with March 15th being World Consumer Rights day. On the day, a relatively new organisation called the Consumer Financial Education Foundation (CONFEF for short) was busy helping consumers. CONFEF is a not for profit organisation focused on consumer financial education (including about debt review).
Part of CONFEF’s plan is to help consumers get to understand their credit score and what a credit record is. They partnered on the day with one of the credit bureaus to hand out free credit reports to anyone who wanted.
