DCASA small logoThe Debt Counsellors Association of South Africa (DCASA) is the largest and oldest Debt Counsellor association in South Africa. The organisation has had strong leadership throughout the years and has been involved in most of the important changes and developments in the industry. Though not loved by all in the industry DCASA play a dominant role in the industry by consistent and energetic engagement with the Regulator and Credit Providers.

dcasa-agm-2016The associations Anual General Meeting (AGM) took place today in Gauteng. Besides a report on the last years activity by the President of the association (Mr Paul Slot), there was also a presentation of the financials (which are healthy) and the election of a new National Executive Committee (NEC). There were few surprises expected regarding the NEC which has remained fairly consistent over the years with a few changes based on availability of candidates. The votes came in and the Status Quo remains with all the NEC retaining their posts.
