DCASA has arranged for 2 W Cape Regional Meetings as well as 2 Regional Workshops in ’12.

The Workshops will be presented at all the major regions in the country and the update will include the latest industry information. Reckless Credit will be the knowledge sharing topic. Workshops on this topic have already been held in Gauteng and PE.

A guest speaker will be invited to the Branch Meetings. There will also be a discussion regarding Western Cape DCASA and debt review matters. Planning will be done at this meetings and future needs of Debt Counsellors in Western Cape will be identified. DCASA would also like to encourage you to invite Attorneys and Magistrates to attend the Reckless Lending Workshop on the 20th April. Please note however, that there is an attendance fee of R150 for all non-members.

The dates for the meetings in the Western Cape are listed below:

20 April 2012: Industry feedback and Workshop on Reckless Lending.
(10:00 to 14:00, venue to be confirmed)

15 June 2012: Regional Meeting. (11:00 to 13:00 at Parow Golf Club)

7 September: Industry feedback and knowledge building topic workshop

9 November: Regional Meeting. (11:00 to 13:00 at Parow Golf Club).
