2018 Debt Review Awards Winners

This year well over 50 companies and individuals were recognised in the Peer Review Process Awards. The increase in numbers is in part due to feedback we received from the industry. This year not only did the Debt Review Awards recognise a Top 5 in the Debt Counsellor categories but also a Top 10.

You may be wondering who won all the Awards well, here are the details broken up into the various categories and some photos of the winners from the Gala evening.

There are thousands of credit providers in South Africa. Each of these firms needs to have the ability to facilitate debt review for their clients. The largest credit providers deal with debt review matters every day. This year debt counsellors took the time (30 min on average) to review and rate credit provider debt review departments. There was also a new distinction made within the banking category between dealing with secured credit and unsecured credit.

The Most Improved Credit Provider Debt Review Department this year was identified by Debt Counsellors taking part in the peer review as:

This year, we were happy to consider Debt Counsellors in 5 different size Categories (2 more than in 2017) namely: Boutique, Small, Medium, Large and National. In addition to the Winners, the Top 5 Debt Counsellors in each category were identified.
