National Consumer Tribunal

Chairman of the National Consumer Tribunal (NCT), Mr Trevor Bailey, spoke at the 13th Annual Debt Review Awards held on the 16th of October 2026 in Cape Town.

He spoke about the role of the NCT in the debt review process and the balance needed between technology to speed processes and the need for human judicial oversight. 

He praised the debt review process and role players in making a difference in the lives of consumers through debt review.
