Debt Review Awards: Associated Events
Open Day (14th October)
On Wednesday (14th October 2026), before the Awards, a Cape Town Open Day will be held.
During the day, several Debt Counsellor practices and credit provider debt review departments will welcome industry members to their offices for some tea and a quick tour.
This Open Day presents those who work in the industry the chance to engage and get to know each other face to face rather than simply by phone or email. This event is not open to the public.

DC | CP Meet Up
On Thursday 15th October 2026 (the day before the Awards), a half day meet up will be held where industry leaders can meet and discuss various topics.
One topic will be the criteria used during the process and plans for the 2026 – 2027 process.
There will also be a series of presentations from the DTIC, NCR, NCT, credit provider associations (such as BASA and CASA) as well as Debt Counsellor Associations (such as DCASA and NDCA) about their plans for the coming year.
The event will be followed by a visitor’s dinner.
Visitor's Dinner
On the evening of Thursday, 15th October (the day before the Awards), there will be a chance to meet and eat with fellow colleagues at a local restaurant.
If you are a local Debt Counsellor or credit provider and wish to be part of the fun, then you are most welcome to join.
If you are travelling in for the associated events and Awards then you are invited to attend.
A suitable venue with a wide range of choices* has been selected and takes all the pressure out of choosing where to go and what to do that evening. It also gives you the chance to network in a relaxed environment with fellow attendees.
