We are now halfway through 2026.
It feels so weird to think that.
Halfway????
Time flies when the world has been in the brink of a possible WWIII, Ebola and Hantavirus outbreaks, and devastating heatwaves and earthquakes.
And while that has all been going on, oil prices have pushed up food prices, transport prices and…well, everything else. The taxis are even having to switch to digital instead of cash. And of course, Eskom have done their share of making things harder as well.
So, if you made it this far, then well done!
Maybe the soccer can distract us from all the global conflict and economic madness.
It can be dangerous to focus too much on the negative news and stories going around. Loading your brain with bad stuff can be bad for your emotions. Interestingly, more countries than ever are trying to keep young kids off social media these days. Maybe they should do the same with the news.
