NCR December Break
The National Credit Regulator (NCR) have advised that they will be “closing shop” from the 22nd of December 2015 till the 4 January 2016. This is for the annual holidays staff break.
NCR Consumer Credit Market Report
Recently the NCR released the latest quarterly figures based on reporting from the industry. The latest figures show that slightly less people are applying for credit but that the people actually being granted credit that they apply for is slightly higher. The 23.45 Million credit users now owe creditors in SA the tidy sum of R1.63 Trillion. Of these consumers 9.91 million are behind on payments but recently more people have been bringing their accounts up to date.
