NCR Workshop – PE
The National Credit Regulator (NCR) will be hosting a workshop with Debt Counsellors in Port Elizabeth (Eastern Cape Province) in June 2014. The NCR workshop is intended for registered Debt Counsellors specifically (so not everyone can attend). The workshop will however be attended by some key industry stakeholders who will give presentations on their different roles within the debt counselling industry.
What to Expect
The NCR say that the objectives of the workshop are to discuss Industry Updates, compliance with the NCR’s terms of registration for Debt Counsellors as well as the National Credit Act and the Debt Counselling Process in general. These workshops are not long question and answer sessions aimed at discussing specific cases or issues but focus more on updates to Debt Counsellors from the NCR’s side.
