Since it’s simple beginning in 2014, the Debt Review Awards have come a long way.
With the help of various industry parties and individuals over the years we have been able to lift our game every year, making things more inclusive, more clear and easier for participants.
Now, we are following a long tradition of asking for feedback so we can look at making adjustments to the process in the months ahead for the 2025 Awards process.
Goals
We aim to make the process as transparent as feasible to participants. We want those who are registered with the National Credit Regulator (NCR) to all have a chance to participate in reviewing their peers and even allowing others who are invested in and part of the industry to get involved.
With this in mind we have opened up categories like: Legal (attorneys who represent credit providers and those who represent consumers in debt review).
This coming year we hope to extend recognition to those who report on the industry (the media) and others.
We also will be sharing information about criteria not only on the Awards website (www.debtreviewawards.co.za) but in a Webinar at the end of November and in a series of articles on the www.debtfreedigi.co.za website and magazine.
This was well received in the 2023 – 2024 process and we hope to keep that momentum going in order to keep as many people informed as possible. We will also share some of this information on other channels like our YouTube Channel.
